Wee Mee

Co-Founder
‘I believe that nurturing teachers, a natural environment and engaging activities help to pave the way to a great preschool journey for all little ones. The CARE values drive our programme planning - I want our little ones to be Creative, Articulate, Respectful and Empowered.    I also strongly believe that happy teachers naturally translate to happy children. I am blessed with many of our teachers who have worked together for many years, we are beyond colleagues and are pillars of support for each other in our professional and personal lives.   My biggest joy comes from the knowledge that we have made a difference in the children’s lives. I want them to have a fun and fulfilling preschool life filled with happy memories!’

Teacher
‘I started out in a primary school as an Art Teacher, but chose to join Da Little Preschool By-The-Park because of their focus on the arts. It is always exciting to meet the little children and to learn about them personally.  It gives me great joy when I see the children grow to become independent little learners, and I hope that they know that their teachers will always care about them.’

Teacher Bridging Programme
‘Da Little Preschool By-the-Park gave me the room to pursue my passion in helping children with learning challenges through the Bridging Programme. I worked in the special needs field for five years, and helped these children bridge the gap between them and the mainstream environment. The knowledge has proven to be useful in the preschool environment as I guide young children to be better learners. My hope for the children I teach is that they learn to be a friend to everyone – even to those who are a little different from them.’

Wendy

Infant Teacher
‘I love coming to work everyday because these babies give me so much joy! The time and effort we spend building close bonds pays off when I see them achieve their developmental milestones. I love to witness the parents’ joy as well when they see their children grow and develop; it gives me a great sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. This is my tenth year as an infant teacher in the By-The-Park family, and I look forward to the different challenges each day brings.’
